Welcome to the Outsourcing Mantra blog. Let me take the opportunity to introduce myself to you all.
My name is Subramanyam, aka. KGS (initials from my First name, Middle name and Last name) I am a outsourcing Consultant at your service.
The main aim for this blog is to share my knowledge, experience and all that I learnt in my twenty plus years of being in this field, effectively helping you in this ever changing area.
The impact of outsourcing today is being felt both in positive and negative terms in almost every sphere of life today. The surge of insourcing and backsourcing has impacted outsourcing to some extent. Every business large or small are looking at this more closely than ever. At the same time outsourcing comes at a cost – many see benefits and as with any ventures it comes at a price. There are opportunities and on the same measures there are challenges and risks as well. Lack of good resources impairs our judgement at times. These are just a couple of the areas where I can offer assistance.
I will be sharing helpful information with you that will make your decisions easier, provides updates on latest trends, techniques and tools to use, clarify your doubt and, from time to time there will also be advice from other experts who can offer invaluable assistance. For those who are just starting out in outsourcing initiatives, there will be handy hints and tips too.
Some of the topics I’ll be covering will be:
- The benefits of Outsourcing
- Quantifying and realizing value
- Benefits and pitfalls, common scenarios
